This is a handmade overdrive / distortion pedal based on the classic Proco Rat circuit. The KEP Classic Distortion pedal features the popular Reutz modification and a toggle switch that allows the user to choose between two different sets of hard clipping diodes. The two way toggle switch allows the user to choose between standard Rat silicon diode clipping, and Turbo Rat led clipping. The KEP Classic Distortion Pedal features an authentic NOS Metal Can LM308 opamp.
This pedal was built with quality components including quality Lumberg jacks and Cusack potentiometers. This pedal is true bypass utilizing a quiet, reliable, soft touch relay bypass system. This pedal is built in a 1590b (4.425″ L x 2.382″ W) sized enclosure.
