KEP Albion Overdrive Pedal – DLS MKI Style Overdrive
The KEP Albion Overdrive Pedal is a handmade overdrive pedal modeled after the Catalinbread Dirty Little Secret MK1 circuit, built in a durable 1590B enclosure (4.425″ L x 2.382″ W). The left toggle switches between JTM/JMP-style (Rock) and JCM-style (Rawk) voicing; the right toggle selects between three treble-bleed capacitor values — a bright mod suggested by Catalinbread founder Nick Harris. Authentic 2N5457 JFETs (MMBF5457), Lumberg jacks, Cusack potentiometers. Hand-soldered, true bypass relay switching. Runs on 9V or 18VDC (center-negative) for added flexibility.
Once assembled, each pedal is played through a looper pedal for several hours before it ships to confirm reliable, consistent performance. Not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Catalinbread.

The Catalinbread Dirty Little Secret Story:
Catalinbread designed the Dirty Little Secret as an “amp in a box” pedal recreating a classic-era Marshall stack’s feel and touch response.[1] The Rock/Rawk toggle switches between ’60s–’70s JTM/JMP character and ’80s JCM800 tone.[1]
