KEP Aotearoa Overdrive Pedal – Hotcake Style Overdrive

The KEP Aotearoa (the Māori name for New Zealand) Overdrive Pedal is a faithful recreation of the modern version of the Hotcake produced by Crowther.  The Hotcake is known for it’s thick, harmonically rich, transparent overdrive guitar tones.  The toggle on the left allows the use to choose between the standard mode, and the XLF (Extra Low Frequency) mode. The toggle switch on the right allows the user to choose between the standard Hotcake, and the popular Bluesberry variant.

KEP Aotearoa Overdrive Pedals are built with quality components including quality Lumberg jacks and Cusack potentiometers. This pedal is true bypass utilizing a low noise, reliable, soft touch relay bypass system. This pedal is built in a 1590b (4.425″ L x 2.382″ W) sized enclosure.
