KEP Solo Germanium Treble Boost Pedal – Rangemaster Style Treble Boost
The KEP Solo Germanium Treble Boost Pedal is a faithful recreation of the classic Germanium Rangemaster circuit, a pedal I never knew I needed until I played one. I designed this pedal with a voltage inverter to allow this pedal to be daisy chained with other pedals powered with a standard center negative 9 volt DC power supply.
This pedal uses a NOS 1T308 Russian military spec germanium PNP transistor tested for traditional Germanium Rangemaster gain. This pedal is true bypass and was built with a quality Lumberg in, out, and DC jacks and a professional 3pdt stomp switch. The pedal was built in a 1590b (4.425″ L x 2.382″ W) sized enclosure.
